Candidate for UM Regent Jordan Acker and State Representative Yousef Rabhi will be in attendance to hear student concerns about rent prices in Ann Arbor, food security, student employment, and tuition increases, among other pressing issues.
We believe this event will be an opportunity for Michigan students to share the problems they face to a group of candidates and elected officials whose job it is to represent them. The candidates and elected officials present are there to listen, not talk, and we aim to use this opportunity to hold them accountable to what they can do to make the University of Michigan more affordable.
